Doe Run Farm CSA

Registration for the Fall / Early Winter CSA program is taking place. Shares are limited, so please register early.

The great tasting vegetables are the most obvious benefit to being a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) member. Later, our members realize that they are contributing to their own health while playing an important role in the health of the economy. Participating in a CSA program makes an important contribution toward shaping the kind of countryside we value, one of viable family farms, and resources under responsible stewardship.

The varieties that we grow on the farm, have all been selected for exceptional flavor, and we harvest them at their peak. We have discovered the longer we farm the more enthusiastic we are about the old, more traditional seed and plant varieties. These are many of the seeds cherished most likely by your parents, grandparents, and great grandparents. Many of our seed varieties are Heirlooms that have been passed down through many generations of farmers. They are such a treasure for us all!

** Parents with children in the Brentwood Y pre-school program may make arrangements with the site coordinator to pick up their shares earlier in the day.
